Q&A with Ariana Tibon

At the 2021 Human Rights Film Festival in Suva after a screening of Nuclear Savage: The Islands of Secret Project 4.1 we were lucky enough to have Ms Ariana Tibon of the Marshall Islands National Nuclear Commission join us via Zoom to answer some questions, and guide the talanoa.

This is recording of that discussion.

About the Podcast

Veni Vidi Viti
Tales and Talanoa From The Fiji Islands
Hello and welcome to my podcast site.

Since moving to Fiji in late 2019 from the UK I have met some fascinating people from an area of the world I previously knew very little about.

I decided to curate this series of talanoa (a Fijian term meaning storytelling, dialogue and forming relationships) as a way for me to learn more about this amazing culture and share my findings with my friends at home and anyone else who might be interested.

As Fiji and the South Pacific enters the geo-political consciousness more and more, I hope these short, informal discussions will provide and introductory understanding of the region and people in the place I now call home.
